Message It was the ground wire that was causing problems. There is a bit of trunk space back there if i need to put grocery bags. The subs r not totaly taking up the trunk space. I can even fit the t-tops back there standing up. I was thinking about putting hooks on either side of the enclosure and use a bungy cord to hold the t-tops in place. The enclosure is padded nicely as not to cause damage to the t-tops when they rest on it. Worst case scenario i can place the t-tops behind the drivers seat. Just have to move the seat up a couple of inches which still leaves plenty of room for passenger comfort. But im leaning more towards the t-tops resting against the enclosures.
I Had the same setup on my original z. Theres no way u can get that deep base with small enclosures. I tried along time ago to make the small enclosures (2 different versions) that fit in either corners but the sound quality is unmatched. The bass hits real hard and u cant even sit in the car when it really hits hard and the gain on the amp isnt even that high. Its sooooo powerfull. I compaired it to other peoples enclosure that have better brand name subs/amps with smaller enclosures and theres a noticable difference when the bass kicks. I used to sell the small enclosures as a matter of fact [ http://www.geocities.com/shroomy_z/truomegas_custom.html ] but stopped after i sold my z. Sold about 15+ of them at the time. Sold alot more HID setups than the enclosures mainly due to e-bay.
Im extremely satisfied with the sound quality of my system. Glad i listened to the forum and got the calrion instead of the pioneer. Well.. i shouldnt say that cause im not certain how the pioneer would have sounded but im more than happy with the calrion. Thanx again for the help with regard to the install.

if you need work done to your Z and you are in the north east, e-mail info@powersupplyracing.com They are very knowledgable and can handle anything Z related. On top of that, their pricing is very competitive.
